Hello Beautiful Soul,

I'M KIMBERLY GIST MILLER, LMFT

If you’ve landed here, there’s a good chance you’ve been holding it all together for a very long time.

Maybe you’re the strong one everyone turns to…

But lately, you’re quietly wondering:

  • Why do I feel so disconnected—from myself, my joy, even my body?

  • Why do I always feel like I’m behind, no matter how much I accomplish?

  • Why is it so hard to rest—even when I’m bone tired?

  • Why do I keep putting everyone else’s needs before my own, even when it leaves me empty?

  • Why do I feel guilty or afraid when I try to set boundaries—or even think about having any?

These aren’t signs of failure. They’re signs of survival.

And they’re incredibly common for high-achieving Black women who’ve carried the weight of early and generational trauma, often without even knowing it.

I’m Kimberly Gist Miller, Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, EMDR practitioner, and founder of Curated Joy—a healing space for Black women over 40 who are ready to move from survival mode to soulful, sovereign living.

Together, we’ll create a safe space where your nervous system can soften, your voice can rise, and your story can be held with care. Using trauma-informed psychotherapy and holistic, embodied healing practices, we’ll work gently but powerfully to help you reclaim your calm, your clarity, and your joy.

This is your invitation to begin again—from a place that honors every version of you.

🖤 You don’t have to do it alone anymore.

MY WHY...

I am divinely inspired to create a warm, supportive space

I believe healing is our birthright—not a privilege. For too long, high-achieving Black women have been praised for their strength while silently carrying generations of unspoken wounds. I created this space to disrupt that legacy—not with force, but with gentleness, integrity, and deep-rooted truth. My work is a reclamation of rest, joy, wholeness, and the sacred knowing that we deserve more than survival. Through culturally aligned, soul-centered healing, I guide Black women over 40 in coming home to themselves—fully, freely, and unapologetically. This isn’t just a brand. It’s a movement. A calling. A legacy of liberation.
